The CM Series current monitors provide isolated voltage signal outputs for DC or AC currents in three primary current channels.

The CM series current monitors consists of two stacked PCBs mounted in a standard DIN Rail package. The lower PCB has the three current conducting traces on the top side with a magnetic shield on the bottom side. The mezzanine PCB includes three CSA-1VG sensors positioned over the center of the three traces located on the lower PCB to detect the current flowing in the three conductors. There is 5kVrms isolation between the primary current conductors and the sensor electronic circuitry.

The CM-xxx-PSW version adds current present detection. It includes specific output circuitry providing 3 swiched sourcing 50mA outputs indicating the presence of currents greater than 0.85Arms for 25A model and 1.5Arms for 50A model.

The Ametes CM Series current monitors and sensors are RoHS compliant.
