The Senis type YM12 is no longer in production; limited quantities are still available. The Senis 0Y Single-Axis Transducer may be a suitable replacement -- review specifications carefully.
The
Senis type YM12-3-5 miniature single axis magnetic
field to analog voltage transducers have an analog output
proportional to that of the measured magnetic field. They
are available in two full scale magnetic field ranges;
0.2T, 2.0T and 5.0T. They feature better than ± 1% absolute
accuracy and a frequency response from dc to 1kHz.
The transducer consists of two modules connected by a
flexible cable. The module 'E' contains all of the electronics
that process the signal from the module 'H' which contains
a single-axis Hall element with a very small active volume.
This sensor is designed in such a way that it is unaffected
by DC magnetic fields in directions other than the one
being measured. This design feature eliminates errors
due to the planar Hall effect.
Typical applications for the YM12-3-5 include:
Magnet Field Mapping
Magnet Field Control
