The
Mag-03MC-CU is a battery powered unit which produces
a sinusoidal alternating magnetic field of defined frequency
and magnitude. This field may be used as a reference for
testing the calibration of the cylindrical range of Mag-03MC
sensors. A temperature stabilized constant current is
passed through a single Helmholtz coil with guides to
align each of the sensor axes in turn.
