I'd
like to produce AC fields with my magnet.
Most laboratory electromagnets
will not produce AC fields. This is because they
use a solid steel yoke. To produce an AC field you
would need a laminated magnet such as the GMW 5403AC.

What
if I want a vertical field direction?
To
get a vertical field direction, you must mount the
magnet on it's end. We provide a vertical mounting
bracket for most of the magnets that we offer.

What
is the warranty?
The warranty on all GMW products
is one year.

What
if I want an axial hole in one or both poles?
Yes, we can machine axial holes
in to the pole pieces. The exact geometry must be
provided by the customer, and it will affect the
field uniformity. It is best to keep the holes as
small as practical.
