PEM AC Current Probes. The PEM range of CWT and LFR Current Probes based on the Rogowski Coil principle are suitable for measuring AC currents ranging from milli-amps to hundreds of kA at frequencies from below 1 Hz up to 20 MHz. These "clip-around" Current Probes have very low insertion impedance, are easy to insert in confined spaces, have an isolation capability up to 10kV and are not damaged by over-current surges. They can be used for measuring ac, pulse or transient current waveforms. Since the PEM Current Probes have no magnetic core they can be used to measure AC current on a conductor with high dc current or in the presence of a high dc magnetic field.

The RCT Series of AC Current Probes includes a DIN Rail Mounted Integrator and is intended for permanent installation in AC power systems. Absolute amplitude accuracy is better than 1% at 50/60Hz and the phase shift is reproducible and less than 1 degree. They are simple to retrofit into existing systems without changing cables or busbar connections.
